J.B. Blue has over 18 years of experience in the asset management industry. He was previously the SVP, Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations for 361 Capital. J.B. was responsible for overseeing 361’s operations and compliance department. Prior to joining 361 Capital in 2010, J.B. spent eight years at Janus Capital Group and was an instrumental player in their mutual fund and separate account operations. In 2009, he was named the “Janus Employee of the Year”. J.B. started his career at ALPS.
J.B. earned the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Family time, cycling and skiing are some of J.B.’s favorite past-times. J.B. and his wife are Colorado natives. They live in Denver with their three young kids and two guinea pigs (regrettably).

Derek Mullins has over 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. Previously, he was the Director of Operations for ArrowMark Partners, a $17 billion diversified asset management firm. Derek also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Meridian Fund, Inc., a 1940 Act registered mutual fund family. Derek was responsible for the management of the financial and tax operations for ArrowMark’s investment products. He had oversight over all of the firm’s service providers, including fund administrators, custodians and prime brokers, transfer agents, legal counsel, independent auditors and tax professionals.
Prior to joining ArrowMark Partners, he served in senior level management positions with Dividend Capital Investments and ALPS Fund Services. Derek graduated from the University of Colorado with both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Finance. He currently serves on the Board of Concierge Technologies.
Derek is a Colorado native and tries to play golf and tennis with his wife and two daughters as much as possible. They live in Denver with their golden Oxford.
Sheevani has over 10 years of regulatory and compliance experience, predominantly in the asset management and broker-dealer space dealing with a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. Previously, Sheevani served as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Reynders, McVeigh Capital Management, LLC, a Boston-based Registered Investment Adviser with over $2 billion in AUM. In this role, Sheevani oversaw the firm’s Compliance Program and provided guidance on legal and regulatory matters. Prior to Reynders, McVeigh, Sheevani worked for Santander Securities, LLC in Boston, MA overseeing the activity the firm’s registered representatives, as well as assisting with FINRA examinations.
Sheevani received her J.D. from New England Law | Boston, in Boston, MA and her B.S. in Business Administration, co-concentrating in economics and international business from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has previously held FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 registrations.
In her spare time, Sheevani enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, hiking, dancing, and most importantly, hanging out with her husband and pup, Zach and Ollie.
Chris Jones has over 13 years of experience in the asset management industry. Previously, he was the Vice President of Business Development for SS&C ALPS, the largest global Alternative Investment Fund Administrator, where he was responsible for new business growth. Prior to his work in Business Development he also served as the Vice President of Fund Administration for ALPS Alternative Investment Services where he was responsible for accounting, financial reporting and client relations.
Chris received his B.A. from The University of Colorado Boulder in Economics. He currently serves on the Help For Children Denver Board.
Chris is a native of New Jersey but has spent his adult life in Colorado. Chris enjoys biking, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family. He lives in Denver with his wife Katie and sons Cooper and Miles.
Marcie McVeigh has over 18 years of experience in the asset management industry. Most recently she was Assistant Vice President and Performance Measurement Manager at Brown Brothers Harriman. Previously, she spent seven years at American Century Investments, where she focused on investment company financial and regulatory reporting and was responsible for providing oversight to the firm’s service providers. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Director/Officer of Fund Administration at State Street Bank, where she oversaw financial and regulatory reporting, expense budgeting/processing, and compliance testing for various registered mutual fund clients.
Marcie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
In her free time, Marcie enjoys concerts, traveling and spending time with friends and family, particularly her husband, daughter and son.
Tom has over 7 years of experience in the asset management industry. Most recently he was a Senior Associate at TPG Global where he managed the accounting and finance functions for 356 private equity entities totaling $22 bn in commitments. Previously, he worked at ALPS fund services as a supervisor in the alternative investments group, overseeing the administration of 40 funds.
Tom earned his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Denver. He has passed Level I of the CFA Program.
He enjoys bicycling to Boulder when he is not studying for the CFA Program.
Stephanie Minson has over 13 years of experience in the asset management industry. Previously she was Assistant Vice President of Alternative Investments Fund Administration at SS&C ALPS where she managed a team of 8 people that administered over 100 funds. Her team was responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly NAVs and year end financial statements for hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds and separately managed accounts. She was also the relationship manager for several top clients, each with over $3B in assets under management. Prior to being on the Fund Administration team Stephanie was on the Conversion team at ALPS and was responsible for onboarding mutual fund clients in the Transfer Agency.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Colorado State University- Fort Collins.
Stephanie is a Colorado native and moved to Denver after college. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Xavier Chavez has recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder accompanied by a diversified finance background. Most recently, he was an investment banking analyst at Capstone Headwaters in which he was responsible for a multitude of tasks ranging from financial models to marketing materials to working directly on investment banking deals. Prior to his investment banking experience, he was involved in the early U.S. outreach stages of Avoka, an Australian software developer, who was recently acquired by the European software giant Tenemos. There, he was responsible for creating data targeting certain financial establishments as clients and delivering corresponding reports. He began his finance career at MarkWest Energy Partners as a Credit/Risk Management intern reviewing derivative opportunities and making sure affiliated parties didn’t overstep their lines of credit.
Xavier received his B.A. from The University of Colorado Boulder in Finance.
Xavier was born and raised a Colorado native. He enjoys traveling the world, golfing, snowboarding, and going on walks with his Husky.
Scott Brown brings over 7 years of professional experience across several different industries. He spent over 5 years in commercial banking with Steele Street Bank and Trust and MidFirst Bank, becoming Assistant Vice President of Commercial Banking. He developed an extensive book of business during his time at the bank ranging from multi-unit retail construction projects to portfolio secured RLOCs. A participant in Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Program in 2017 and member of the DDP’s Membership Experience Committee, he played an integral role in the conceptual design of the Downtown Denver Loop Project. Scott left the bank to pursue investment real estate and vacation rental property management opportunities on Maui’s west coast where he developed small business management and digital marketing expertise. After several years, the call to re-enter Denver’s financial services industry brought him home to Colorado where he become part of the PINE team.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Regis University in Denver, Colorado where he graduated with honors and was a four-year NCAA Men’s Soccer student athlete.
Scott is a Colorado native, born and raised in Greenwood Village. In his free time Scott enjoys playing golf and squash, backpacking, and skiing.
Vinolia Anderson joins PINE from Janus Henderson Investors where she completed a compliance training program supporting both the investment and corporate compliance functions of the business. Vinolia recently received her Master’s in Finance with a concentration in Project Management from Colorado State University. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce, with a triple major in Business Finance, Economics and Risk Management from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, where she was born and raised. When she is not working, she enjoys tending to her growing collection of house plants, exploring culinary offerings around Denver with her husband, connecting with loved ones, sewing, hiking, camping, and reading poetry.
Beth Lett has over 23 years of experience in the accounting industry. She started her career in public accounting, and later transitioned to corporate accounting where she worked as an Assistant Controller and Controller at a public accounting firm, and then Controller at a law firm for a total of seven years. She later worked as an Accounting Manager at a family office, assisting a high net worth family and their related entities with investment tracking and financial statements for four years. Beth then transitioned back to public accounting, where she assists primarily small businesses with their monthly accounting and reporting. She has assisted an alternative investment fund with accounting and investment tracking, was involved with the start-up and accounting work for another alternative investment fund.
Beth graduated Cum Laude from Colorado State University, and has been a Colorado CPA since 2001.
